the valentine box

I just made the worst Valentine's Day box for Carson's party tomorrow...  I tend to be a little crafty, and enjoy doing those types of things, but I'm so tired with conferences this week and getting up early 3 days to workout.  I don't have the time or energy to put into what it takes to make a box I am proud of.  So, I used a box that Grandma Pat had wrapped for Christmas that has a gold and white pattern on it.  I taped some red hearts and Transformer Valentines to it with his name in red stickers.  What a lazy mom.  I'm going to do better next year and be more prepared!  I don't like it that my job takes my energy and I don't enjoy doing some of the things I would normally want to do...  

a sad day

This morning, as I was putting on my Nike Presto Watch .... it BROKE!!  The band just snapped in two... I'm so SAD :(   It was the best watch I've ever had.  They don't make them anymore... I had to buy this on one ebay because the stores that do have them in stock don't carry size small.  I am NOT HAPPY!

cookie monster or carrot monster?

Have you heard that cookie monster gave up cookies and now snacks on carrots and veggies? Really??? Is obesity so out of control in kids that we can't differentiate between a puppet who loves cookies and what we need to eat in moderation to stay healthy? I'm all for showing kids how to eat right and stay active, but give me a break. Cookie monster isn't the same without the cookies!!~

BTW - Alysia is the other cookie monster I know. Also, she is not the same without cookies! HA!
