They practiced running the bases, and he loved playing fox and rabbit where they chased each other to the base. Carson was always able to get the rabbit when he was the fox.
Overall, he did a great job this year. We could see a definite improvement from last year.
He watched the ball while he was in the outfield... for the most part...
After he hit the ball...
he knew to run to first.
He sat in the dugout and waited for his turn to bat.
He knew to run to each base when the ball was hit.
He only played in the dirt a few times... NO dirt angels!
He was so fun to watch as he ran the bases. He had a La-di-da attitude about the game. (Sometimes he pranced.) He was there to have fun, socialize, play a little ball, and EAT SNACK!
